The inspiration to establish QuickPass Schools came from watching our grandchildren grow and study in England, which sparked a desire to bring the same level of quality education to Nigeria. Additionally, the Federal Government’s call for Nigerians in the Diaspora to return and contribute to the country’s development provided further motivation to take action and create a positive impact on the Nigerian educational landscape.
The initial challenge was converting our private residence into a functional school. This required significant structural and architectural modifications to meet the requirements set by the Lagos State Ministry of Education. To ensure that our vision was realized, we enlisted the help of professional experts who assisted in transforming the space into a suitable educational environment that met the standards for approval. This diligent work enabled us to establish a private Nursery and Primary School that would provide high-quality education for children in the community.
At the heart of Quickpass Schools is a powerful story of passion, purpose, and vision. The schools wwere born from the shared dream of two dynamic and dedicated educationists — Mr. Babatunde Olufemi Awojobi and Mrs. Victoria Olubunmi Awojobi.
Trained in the United Kingdom and equipped with a deep understanding of global best practices in education, the Awojobis set out to create more than just a school — they envisioned a nurturing environment where children could thrive academically, morally, and socially.
Their journey began humbly in August 2018, with a bold and selfless gesture — free summer classes, offered to children in the community from August 6th to 31st. With just ten passionate staff members and the capable leadership of Mrs. E.J. Okechukwu as Head Teacher, Quickpass opened its doors with heart and hope.
Then, on September 10th, 2018, the dream became a reality. The 2018/2019 academic session began with forty pioneering pupils, each one carrying the promise of a brighter future.
From those early days, Quickpass has continued to grow — not just in numbers, but in purpose. Today, we are proud to be a leading educational institution, known for our student-centered approach, Montessori-based foundation, comprehensive senior school programs, and a deep commitment to moral and academic excellence.
